39/365: Venice Piazza
| February 8, 2010 | 1:13 pm | Project 365 | No comments

Today I post processed one of the shots that I took during our Pre Valentine Dinner at Old Vine Grille and Kuse at Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill.  It was a fun and laid back dinner feast, to say the least. I love the place already and the Gondola isn’t even constructed yet.

38/365: Jive Youth in Prayer
| February 7, 2010 | 11:45 pm | Project 365 | No comments

Kuya Ric leads the prayer as the Jive Youth prepares for another fun time together.  That’s my husband, Jeff, on the far right.  Margie now knows how to play the drums! Yey! I had fun preparing snacks with James, Ryan, Rechel and Chef Lady at the kitchen area before the session started.

| February 6, 2010 | 8:12 am | Project 365 | No comments

I lent my DSLR to the hubby today when he went to Caliraya Re-creation Center & Resort for a speaking engagement.  I did not get the chance to shoot before he left after lunch.  Thus, I’m using a photograph that he took, uploading it live now with my post processing touch. ;-)

36/365: Our 4 year old Jed knows how to spell

Our 4 year old son’s recent fascination is spelling. Geek in the making? Not exactly. He should have learned how to read when he was two, if that was the case. ;-) We  started homeschooling June 2009 and got him under School of Tomorrow’s Preschool with Ace and Christi curriculum. It’s a reading readiness program and I am just amazed that even if I don’t teach him how to read, he does it by himself anyway. Way before he finished all the letter sounds (phonics), he was already reading away pages of his books.

| February 4, 2010 | 10:02 pm | Project 365 | 1 Comment

Valentine’s Day Cake and Chocolate Heaven cakes were lunched today by Red Ribbon.  I won a Valentine’s Day Cake - The Roses & Kisses Cake. Yay! Sweet and Valentiney.  I’m waiting until tomorrow to devour it.  My boys and I were served with slices of Chocolate Heaven.  Rich layers of everything chocolate.  What’s sweeter is you also get to have the cake personlized especially for your love ones if you order before February 9, 2010. Call the Red Ribbon hotline at 8-77-77.

| February 3, 2010 | 10:01 am | Project 365 | 3 Comments

This is one of the many desserts from last night’s  sumptuous dinner served over at Old Vine Grille and Kuse restaurants in Venice Piazza, McKinley Hills.  Thanks to Mr. Larry Cortez, the MegaWorld team and Azrael for extending the invitation to us. We had such fun time devouring every single dish. Yumm! :-)

A photo taken by the hubby during the launch of Havaianas’ Happy Sole Contest (me on the far left).  Havaianas made it such a super fun night as they invited Spit over to do their thing.  Visit my beauty blog – KikayCorner.net for the details of the Happy Soles Will Fly to Brazil Contest. :-)

32/365: Lechon Manok

This is what I grilled for lunch today.  Preparing this viand took a little while than I would our regular everyday ones. But I always love to try something new. Last week I made lechon kawali and it was an instant hit. Thinking of another viand to cook next week.  :-)
