89/365: Yongnuo Speedlight
admin | March 30, 2010 | 9:59 pm | Project 365 | No comments

My fresh out of the box speedlight accessory for my Nikki baby. I was told that it is not ideal to buy a third party accessory for a dslr, but this is all I can afford right now. We’re seriously saving up for something grand. When I saw a professional photographer using this speedlight brand, I hesitated no longer and placed my order.

86/365: View from Seven Suites
admin | March 27, 2010 | 10:04 pm | Project 365 | No comments

The hubby took this shot when we were at the Seven Suites observatory. We were literally star struck when we saw Saturn from their magnificent and powerful scope! How awesome is the handiwork of God! That much I can say.

The time stamp of this picture is March 27, 2010, 8:58PM. It was supposedly Earth Hour and judging from this picture alone, we can see that not very many of the population observed it. Read more »

admin | March 22, 2010 | 11:22 pm | Project 365 | No comments

This is a portion of the the top shelf of our home library. We still have a couple of shelves left after Ondoy.  One for my books and the the hubby’s and another for our son’s book collection (Time Life, Childcraft, Science Library) – most of them, gifts from Uncle Danny. The other two huge shelves are now housed in my husband’s church office. Our tiny house cannot anymore accommodate them all.

So I was not able to bring my DSLR with me today. Nevertheless I am posting a photo that was taken using our point and shoot camera. The point of this Project 365 is to document things that happen in a daily basis. Therefore, I cannot pass this one up just because I failed to bring my better camera with me.

78/365: Playing Paparazzi
admin | March 19, 2010 | 1:03 am | Project 365 | No comments

I am playing paparrazi to my son here who had his 3rd audition, this time for a casting project for a detergent commercial. T’was nice that  we could actually peek through the open blinds. It was usually another closed door and we had no clue what was going on. It was again a terrible day to travel today because of the heat but when we asked if our son wanted to give the audition a go, who was I to stop him. Read more »

77/365: A different Braso de Mercedez
admin | March 18, 2010 | 12:51 am | Project 365 | No comments

I have been confined at least a couple of times in The Medical City (TMC) but it wasn’t until today that I found out that there is this one yummy place within the hospital building. Where we would always go to was the “food court” at the second floor and that was it.

As a photography hobbyist, I was only able to attend one class on photography and that was it. Basic Digital Photography was the class that I took almost a year ago. Since I cannot squeeze the time in to physically go to a class I am actually looking into signing up for an online one.

75/365: Our Crocs loot
admin | March 16, 2010 | 12:26 am | Project 365 | 1 Comment

I knew this Crocs Mega Sale event was anticipated by a lot of people, but I never knew that the supposedly “preview sale” event exclusive for Citibank cardholders would not be any less crowded. We came to Mega tent pretty early. An hour early to be exact and the line was so long already. Just to give you an idea, We got there at 9, the gate opened at 10 and we got inside at 10:30. It was too crowded alright but we persisted.
