Today being our day off, we decided to run to the mall to get our son’s graduation gift – a Lego set and spend time in Gymboree. Mondays have always been our family’s favorite day. But if we ever have to leave the house, it always has to be within the time that the number coding is lifted – Monday being a no drive day for us.
That’s the husband- with the Number 11 on his back. He’s not just a very good soccer player, he also knows how to play basketball. He’s actually very good at it too. I took this shot during one of their tournament games where they won (again!).
I cooked chicken adobo for dinner today. It has been a while since I last prepared this dish. I got the chicken marinated days back for for broiling. Changed my mind the last minute and voila! Adobo it is! I prepare my adobo the usual way and then I pour fresh milk when the sauce becomes thick. It’s yummier and creamier.
An experimental shot. I am not even sure if there is anything artistic in this. I just love the randomness and its play of colors and my son taking steps as he goes down the stairs. This was taken during my son’s 15 minute break during his graduation rehearsal at PCST in Paranaque. Read more »
Tonight we watched Paramore Live in Manila at Mall of Asia’s Concert Grounds. The band definitely brought the house down. Thanks to Charlemagne Lim of Little Asia for the VIP concert tickets. Too bad SLRs aren’t allowed in the concert grounds. Used Canon Powershot A3100 IS for this shot.
It has been pretty sauna like these past days. The heat can easily send you to exhaustion in a heartbeat. Working has become unbelievably unbearable, it’s like my brain is heading towards meltdown. Seriously. I feel exhausted midday when I haven’t even started with my online tasks just yet.
Here is a quick fix to our summer days here in Manila. Going to the clubhouse is not very convenient so what we do is have the little guy play in this inflatable pool, which by the way has been inflated since typhoon Ondoy. We didn’t bother to deflate it after and now that summer is on the roll, it is now doing its job.
I used Canon Powershot A3100 IS to take this photo. DSLR was with a friend.
Today I won the most gorgeous netbook that has ever existed in the history of mankind – The Asus EEE PC Seashell Karim Rashid Collection Limited Edition. When the PR company sent an invite for the launch of this netbook, we were advised to come in a hot pink attire for a chance to win this lovely pink toy. You have to agree with me when I say there is no other netbook on earth that can be as pink as this, most gorgeous at that, with functionality that can be at par or even better than your regular netbook.
Our family headed to the mall after our son took his post exam. The boys need to get their hair trimmed so we headed over to Bruno’s Barbershop in Shangri-la Mall before we headed to Gymboree for Jed’s play time.
