This is one of the shots I took during the food event I attended a couple of weeks back – Ibayo by Barrio Fiesta. My Canon S90 was then a day old and I wasn’t yet too keen on using the manual setting. I took this shot of “Ginataang Kuhol” (snails cooked in coco milk) on Auto Mode. Fair shot for a point and shoot, right? No wonder this baby is being sold in the malls for ten grand more than I had bought my entry level Nikon dslr last year.
Thanks to a reputable online gadget seller who sold me my newest toy to date, a Canon S90. Tagged by KenRockwell himself as the World’s Best Pocket Camera. I am one giddy lady! I love that I do not have to lug around with my other heavy weight dslr baby, Nikki. My nature of job calls for a quality camera and with the hundreds, possibly thousands of reviews I browsed through online, this is the winner! I’ll do the giddy dance in this blog post if I can.
The Magyar Restaurant in Paseo de Magallanes is definitely one of the yummiests finds I’ve had in months. I am a self confessed sweet tooth and this is my runaway favorite from the Portuguese restaurant, O’sonho – chocolate ganache.
It readily took care to top our meal when we last went to O’sonho. I could easily finish one serving all by myself. Read more »

One thing for sure, I’ve had better tasting Kinilaw na Tanigue in my life. Even for someone who was famished, this was plain and so-so. This is one dish my husband and I share a love for – everything kinilaw. Read more »
That’s my dear husband getting all “dolled up” in Active White Health & Beauty Center. Okay, not exactly dolled up. But he is here getting his long overdue facial cleaning treatment. I hope I could share photos I took during my own treatment. The aesthetician who worked on my face was “Be’” and she was really good. I was hoping I could share pictures I took of myself, but nothing was share-worthy.
