DSLR cameras are very common in this generation. Both amateur and professional photographers have one or two in hand. It can be a bit costly, but once you get to have one of your own it will be worth it.
A camera is not just made for taking still shots of our surroundings. Most people use this as a way to preserve memories. Because they cannot stop the time, they try to take hold of that moment to be remembered for years to come.
While I love Canon products, I have come to be partial towards Nikon professional camera. I have been using an entry level Nikon professional camera since 2009 and it has not once disappointed me. A lot of raves can be searched and found over the internet on Nikon’s entry level professional camera D40 (which is already phased out) and for good reasons. As for Canon, I can only judge from the photos friends’ photos using Canon professional cameras. I just don’t find the colors of the photos alive enough. But I still have yet to check out pictures taken using Canon’s higher end model cameras.
Just when we were contemplating between and telephoto lens or a Nikon D90, comes the death of my Nikon D40′s flash. Yes, just the flash. All the while I thought it was death by actuation. It’s still working all right, just minus the flash.
With the husband wanting to get 18mm-200mm telephoto lens for our Nikon baby, I cannot help but muse for us to get a D90 or a D7000 instead. With the latter two, we get its basic lens which is 18mm-150mm as its kit lens. Given that our 2 year old D40 (which is already phased out from the market) is granny aged per its actuation count.
