363/365: Vita Italiana’s Supremo Pizza

This is one of the things we indulged in during the holidays – Vita Italiana’s Supremo Pizza. An ordinary tasting pizza. Not spectacular, for sure. Nothing beats Sandy’s Pizza for sure. It was our first time to try Vita Italiana in Robinson’s Metro East. The service was good but food can be better. We just ordered this and another pasta dish – Marinara Pescadora. Spaghetti Factory is still best when it comes to pasta.

We just love trying out offerings of different restaurants around the metro. I know that I might as well get myself ready to only fit in plus size lingerie if we keep at this pace. But we plan to lay low as soon as the holidays are over.

362/365: Fun in the Sun

This is one of the photos I took yesterday during the retreat we threw out for our church minister leaders. The little guy is having the time of his life in one of the little jacuzzi tubs available in the resort. It might not have been the best time to throw out a swimming party because the weather can be chilly. But we had fun nonetheless.

361/365: Simia Rix Paladin Neo Shifter

This is one of the gifts the little guy received for Christmas – a Simia Rix Paladin Neo Shifter. He’s going gaga over it. Although he had to get help from his father to set the thing up, he is so thrilled to have his very own robot. Getting it assembled can be a challenge. Too many tiny stuff and details to take care of. Definitely not my thing.

Aside from the pretty China Blue bathroom set that I got from my hubby, a few business office supplies that can be very handy, my runaway favorite Christmas present is my pair of classic Ray Ban Aviator shades!

352/365: Gift

Aside from the advance anniversary Lenovo laptop present the hubby got me last month, it was this that surprised me in my bag a.k.a. the abyss on our 9th anniversary. A Technomarine strap replacement was just what I needed and I got the color that I wanted – white!

I wish there was still rummage some memoir 1st anniversary gift from my photo files. It’s just nice to go back to those memories as we count the years.

345/365: Crispy Pata

Today is my mom’s 65th birthday and we all decided to celebrate with a lunch date. We tried out this House of Kare-Kare located along Sumulong Highway. It was a nice, homey place. Perfect for what we are there for. It was just like a house turned into a restaurant. There is an al fresco area where there are Davidoff cigars all over the place. But of course, we had our reservation in the non-smoking area.

We ordered Crispy Pata (pictured above), Oxtail Kare-Kare, Sizzling Bangus, Bulalo and had a Red Ribbon cake that mom blew after she whispered her birthday wish.

334/365: Smart Cubes

It is healthier for kids to play with manipulatives like smart cubes and Lego. These kinds of toys teaches the kids to solve problems. Although we are not totally withholding our son from playing the more technologically advanced gadgets like xbox or PS3, we really still prefer the old school stuff for him. When he plays with game consoles, we make sure to always put a limit on it.

330/365: Face to face

Okay, this is not exactly a good quality shot, all right. With no slr at hand and even no chance to do a manual setting, I just took a shot anyway because of its very interesting angle (at least for me). Father and son are having their hair trimmed face to face, in between mirrors. This particular angle looks in such a way that the shot took either sides of their faces, fit to be tagged as “binagbiyak na bunga” in our vernacular.

As usual, the little guy charmed the people inside the salon. He even gave them the liberty to choose whatever hair style best fits him. Then they went on talking about reasons for hair loss and even requests for his seat to be pumped higher. I guess the salon attendants were all charmed about is his being such a chatterbox. He was just like a radio talking away. No dead spot.

329/365: Me and My Son

A shot taken by dear husband (please don’t mind my dark circles ). Our five year old son is such a joy to be around. There is never a dull moment when we are together. Even in the middle of the night and he would half wake to go to the washroom and pee and we’d throw a joke at him, he’d still smile with his half half closed. 322/365: Gummi Bears

I always love it when I get to spend some time alone with my five year old son. Our recent date was early this month, during a mall wide sale. After we have spent some considerable time in his place of choice – Timezone, I requested him to come with me as I shop for some makeup. It was neat that along the endless rows of bridesmaid dresses in the ladies department, was a stand with colorful candies. We got a container of Gummi Bears which he snacked on as I got a makeover. Shot taken by my trusty and compact Canon S90.

317/365: Spontaneous Wagyu Date

Friday night and there was no way we could sneak out of Makati, the hubby and I agreed to swing around the Rockwell area to have a quick date. We had so much fun! I love that the night was breezy and we actually ate al fresco with our wagyu meals on hand. I was also able to score a shoe organizer at the nearby midnight bazaar!

We are soon to turn 9 years this coming month! Has it really been that long? The poundages that added to our waists are proofs (I wonder if weight loss cream would help). It is just nice to be able to do this once in a while. I love that we are still head over heels each other even after all these years.
