That is great if you have enough resources to shell out for otherwise crazy expensive equipment like speedlight and all the umbrella like stands and enormous diffusers.

But here is a thought, with photography dating back to centuries ago,how do you guys think photographers of those days thrived and managed to create their masterpieces? Natural light, of course. Although it can be tricky, it may be done. Sunlight provides an efficient amount of light to do our photography in. Whether it is portraiture or a product shot of a Carter mechanical fuel pump you would like to sell online, creating great product shots using natural lighting is doable. Start off with the basic of having a white and seamless background, play with the knobs of your dslr and shoot away as you find the perfect setting for the hour of the day. Going back to basics isn’t all that boring.

It has been more than two years since I attended the first and only photography class I ever attended. It was Sir James Nicolay’s Basic Digital Photography class held in one of the restaurants located in University of the Philippines, Diliman.

With my beloved Nikon D40′s shutter reaching its dying phase, I still have not upgraded my skill until now. I have some basic knowledge about composition and lighting. But I know I can do tons better if I choose to get serious at this. Any photography classes you guys can suggest? Kindly shoot me a comment, if you may.

I especially got convinced when I saw for myself a whole bunch of traditional media practitioners using the same third party brand.

Why not? When it can clearly do its job, then the brand name should not really matter. Although, one has to make sure to use duracell procell 9V and not the generic dry cells that are available in the market. A branded battery for any gadget should serve you far longer than most generic, unreliable ones.

While post processing techniques can be used for portraiture photography, it is always best if the model is as young looking in person as he is in the photo.

This is also why middle aged models (yes! they still exist) take supplements. Several high t senior reviews will lead you to the benefits of taking them. As for the photography techniques on taking portraiture, prime lens and a good background is always best.

If you have great shots, prospective buyers will find it worth their money to pay for a handsome, hopefully, good quality items, than carelessly shot products.

If, for instance, an online shop sells Italia Guitars. Sellers should make sure that proper lighting is used and the product is carefully composed in the picture. You might have a great product to begin with. But until you are able to present it with great pictures and proper exposure, people will not come close to knowing how great your product is.

And while you are at it, a guitar tutorial using your brand can prove effective. Videos give prospective buyers a bigger thing to look forward to when they buy your product.

Lightning usually makes or breaks your product shots. But even with proper lighting, you also have to consider the cleanliness of your product. Product shots usually concentrate on details that can easily be seen in the final photo. For example, you are taking a photo of a yakima bike rack. If you are selling it second hand, make sure it is clean. The chances of it getting sold is higher if prospective buyers will see that you are selling a good product.

Because they say “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, you can certainly be sure that somebody will like your photo. But of course, what you think that looks good will also look good to others; if you think the photo is fantastically taken, then it will surely be what other people might think and see. It’s the power of positive thinking, you know.
