While I know I suck at food photography, here I am still trying hard. But apparently, not hard enough for me to use my dslr baby Nikki for this job. I used a Sony point and shoot and color corrected it of sorts via Lightroom.

Porterhouse steak (big) is what the hubby and I shared for lunch today. It is what we always have whenever we go to Hot Rocks every week. It’s big enough to share and we even sometimes leave a few chops when we’re full already. We used to love it so much. But today the husband has to agree with me that they have gone down that road of inferiority. Their beef used to be oooh so tender, succulent, effortless to bite. It is just not as good as it used to be. But the taste is still the same. I’m thinking they probably have changed supplier or something. At any rate, this isn’t something you eat on a daily basis or you’ll surely end up needing Lipovox to manage your weight. We have it once a week, twice, tops. We’re loyal fans and we are hoping they go back to how good their steaks used to be. :-)
