original shot
The hubby took me out on a date last Monday. Finally! After weeks of trying to figure out how we could squeeze that in. We took this shot when we were in Conti’s at The Fort Boni Highstreet. For some reason, we couldn’t figure out how to correct the exposure. Set in P mode, we just shot away. Resulting in a number of overexposed shots.
Now that I am trying to figure Adobe Lightroom out, I guess I should try to post process this photo. I feel so slow, really. I tried to correct the exposure and I used the adjustment brush for the first time. Particularly the clarity options — soften skin. Interesting, I thought. So I played with it. Surprisingly it erased the hubby’s enlarged pores! Even his beard and mustache stubbles were erased! Magic! So before I overdo it again, I had to stop. I got a little overwhelmed with post processing yesterday’s starfish shot that it got a little dimmer than I wanted. But then again, it could easily pass for a sunset shot.
