This is a portion of the the top shelf of our home library. We still have a couple of shelves left after Ondoy. One for my books and the the hubby’s and another for our son’s book collection (Time Life, Childcraft, Science Library) – most of them, gifts from Uncle Danny. The other two huge shelves are now housed in my husband’s church office. Our tiny house cannot anymore accommodate them all.
We used to have so much books at home that you’d think it’s a library where a small family of three lives. We have given a handful away already. But we’re keeping our favorite ones and those that we use for ministry. I cannot do a garage sale where I can sell used books that we don’t use anymore. Basically because they were given like an inheritance from our uncle pastor who is in the prison ministry in Texas. For which we are extremely grateful. I have always loved books but I never knew that I will be given so much in my lifetime. Not just any kind of books, but really good ones, at that.
