The hubby took this shot when we were at the Seven Suites observatory. We were literally star struck when we saw Saturn from their magnificent and powerful scope! How awesome is the handiwork of God! That much I can say.

The time stamp of this picture is March 27, 2010, 8:58PM. It was supposedly Earth Hour and judging from this picture alone, we can see that not very many of the population observed it. We actually had to leave before we meant to because as opposed to what was emailed as part of the program that Seven Suites was going to observe Earth Hour from 8:30PM – 9:30PM, we left at around 9PM and all the  lights were on. They did turn off a few lights for 5 minutes and that was it. For someone who has been observing Earth Hour since 2008, this definitely turned me off. I just thought that they shouldn’t have included that in their program invite if they did not plan to observe it anyway. They should’ve known how big a deal Earth Hour was.

Moving on, we left and decided I’d rather go home and write about cheap health insurance rather than linger there and be upset. If only for that Saturn sighting, I still think my Seven Suites event attendance was worth it. :-)
